This award recognises the customs authority that has achieved the most secure borders while also providing the shortest clearance times thanks to simple, streamlined and paperless customs processes using digital tools like electronic single windows, blockchain and/or AI. The authority will also be actively engaged with businesses and logistics operators to provide a customer friendly, secure and sustainable environment in which trade and industry can thrive.
